Basavaraj Durga Island is an island in the Arabian Sea near Honnavar. It is part of Honnavar Taluk in Karnataka State of India.

The Kali River or Kali nadi is a river flowing through Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka state in India. The river rises near Diggi, a small village in Uttar Kannada district. The river is the lifeline to some 4 lakh people in the Uttara Kannada district and supports the livelihoods of tens of thousands of people including fishermen on the coast of Karwar. There are many dams built across this river for the generation of electricity. One of the important dams build across Kali river is the Supa Dam at Ganeshgudi. The river runs 184 kilometers before joining Arabian Sea. Significant and picturesque, the Sadashivgad fort is now a popular tourist destination located by the coastal highway Kali river bridge, which has been built above the confluence of the river and the Arabian Sea. The National Highway NH-17 continues on the Kali Bridge built over Kali River and the road continues to split the Sadashivgad granite rock hill to connect Karnataka to Goa. In Aug 2019 due to excessive rains in the region it caused flooding and loss of property and animal life due to the floods which took place when a huge amount of water was discharged on the downstream area.Many people lost their houses and moved to rehabilitation services provided by the government.

Netrani (historically known as Pigeon Island and also Heart Shape Island) is a small island of India located in the Arabian Sea. It is off the coast of Karnataka situated approximately 10 nautical miles (19 km) from the temple town of Murudeshwara in Bhatkal Taluka. The island can be seen from the main coast over 15 km away, including from various beaches in Bhatkal city as well as from the Murudeshwar Beach. Views above give this island the appearance of being heart-shaped. Besides pigeons, the other inhabitants of the island are wild goats. This island has scuba diving facilities and the place is easily accessible from Bhatkal, Mangalore, Goa, Mumbai or Bangalore. There are dive shops at Murdeshwara and Goa, that regularly organize diving tripes to the island. Those that do not want to dive can just visit the island and hike in by hiring the full fishing motor boat at the Bhatkal Fishing Harbour/Bunder. It would be beneficial if in big groups. This place is Locally in Bhatkal city known as Nitra Gudo.

5. Uppinakudru Island

Uppinakudru, located 6 km north of Kundapura Udupi District (Karnataka, India), is a small island village, once famous for trading of salt (uppu) and seafood (picking of sea shells in backwaters). It is the native place of Uppinakudru Kogga Devanna Kamath, internationally known artist for Yakshagana puppet dance or puppetry. UppinaKudru (UK) is also having short name of UK. So this is called as UK of Kundapura. This is also known as 'The King of Kudrus'.
